I’ve been getting very concerned that we’re killing way too many fish and that deep sea fishing techniques have gone too far in destroying ocean ecosystems.  I decided to stop eating fish in restaurants because it’s too hard to know where it comes from and how it was caught. This app still needs some work, but it could be an amazing solution if their FishMap project catches on. jayparkinsonmd: Seafood Watch: Information about fish from all over the world, letting you see at a glance where the fish you’re eating probably came from and not only how nutritious it is for you, but how good for the environment as well.
