My legal clients face endless hassles around both scanning and faxing documents. From signature pages to state filing requirements, faxes (and/or scanning issues) just won’t seem to die. I’m hard pressed to think of any legitimate reason why anybody should need to fax a document in 2011.
I’ve recently come across two solutions that aim to fight this pain. Note that I have not yet tested either of these solutions, so I’m not vouching for them yet. But I’d love to hear about experiences from folks who have used them.
- HelloFax - A recent YCombinator graduate that I’m going to be testing out. Claims to make faxing digital and painless.
- JotNot Scanner Pro - An Iphone app that lets you take digital images of documents and create editable pdf documents that you can email.
Check them out and let me know what you think in the comments.
